When opposites attract… For 319 days, Wrinkles has called rescue home. His skin was a mess, his attitude, even more so—he was quite the hot mess. And yes, looking at him now, you might still think, “Well, he still is….” But he’s come a long way—he’s got fur in places he never did before, and his attitude is definitely improving.
Now meet Jeff—a man who seems to have it all together. Handsome, polished, and with a heart of gold. And he wanted Wrinkles. What are the chances of that?
When Wrinkles brought his “attitude” to the table today, Jeff wasn’t phased one bit. He’s had Bulldogs with big personalities before, and Wrinkles fit right in with the kind of Bulldog Jeff loves—ones with a bit of a spark.
Jeff came prepared with treats, toys, and balls. As hard as Wrinkles tried to act uninterested, he just couldn’t resist those treats. After three hours of sitting, chatting, and hearing all about their future together in San Antonio, Wrinkles was ready to hit the road.
A huge shoutout to people like Jeff—those rare souls who don’t expect perfection. They’re few and far between. Wrinkles just hit the Bulldog lottery, and in his own way, he knows it.

Wrinkles packed his food and his favorite things to take with him when he left. He was ready to go, as he had about all of the itching he could take. And he was ready for some relief.
Wrinkles family loved him enough to let him go. They realized his medical needs were much more than what they could handle.
Wrinkles is around 70 lbs. of Bulldog perfection. Other than his skin, he doesn’t have a care in the world. He loves all dogs, cats and kids.
After he’s neutered and has some infected wrinkles addressed, he’ll be 100% ready to start a new life being itch-free with a family who will love him forever.
Wrinkles’ mom was overwhelmed as she had become the sole provider for a family member diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She’s extremely excited that now Wrinkles has the chance to get healthy again and find a family who will love him as much as she does.
