11/1/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster pops: When Jinx was saved from a shelter, she was malnourished, had major skin challenges, horrible eyes and she was covered with fleas.
The once-stray girl then received all the care and love she needed through our rescue program. Her foster family nursed her back to health and certainly helped her find her spark.
Jinx, now Eleanor, is living with her new family in South Texas. She loves her Frenchie sister and cannot wait to grow old with her family on her new ranch.♥

6/7/25 INTRODUCTION: Meet Jinx — yet another heartbreaking save.
When Jinx arrived at the shelter as a stray, she was in rough shape — covered in sores and wounds, her skin raw and stained from neglect. Her eyes, swollen with untreated cherry eye, make it hard for her to even see the world around her. And yet, no one came looking for her.
Judging by her condition and signs that she’s had a litter (or several), it’s possible Jinx was used for breeding — and then discarded when she was no longer “needed.”
But we see her. We see a soul who still wants to live… and to love. A girl who’s endured more than her share, but hasn’t given up.
Jinx is now safe in our care, and we’re committed to helping her heal — inside and out. She has a long road ahead, but with love, patience, and proper vet care, we believe Jinx’s future can be so much brighter than her past.
Stay tuned for updates as this beautiful girl begins her transformation. ![]()
10/7/25 UPDATE ~ We’re working to match Jinx to the right family for her! She writes: I have been with my foster family for a couple months now and am feeling so much love. My heart is comforted knowing I have a calm, loving environment that gives me endless TLC. I have a few fur-brothers, and we all get along a-okay. My heart nearly BURSTS with excitement when I spot a new tough-chew toy as my foster mom and dad know that I must have a (literally) tough toy to chew on or I may quickly become curious/mischievous with other items that are not meant to be toys (throw pillows, toilet paper rolls, etc.).
My foster parents take me on walks, but it usually ends up in a wagon ride – which I am good with. My diet is very specific as I have a very sensitive tummy and skin too, but recently have loved the added blueberries and cantaloupe, which they give me as an afternoon snack/treat. I have my own room to sleep in with a kennel that is stacked with comfy blankets, and I prefer sleeping in there (with the door open) and easily sleep 8+ hours.😊
