When Lila Ladybug’s new family came to meet her, it was love at first sight! She loved all the attention she was getting and had a blast playing with her new skin brother and sister.
Lila Ladybug was such a delight to have around in her foster home, and we’re so happy to see her have a loving family of her very own. Happy adoption day, Lila Ladybug!
When the rescue wagon rolled around the corner on New Year’s Eve, I was ready to hit the road. I thought, “Let the celebration begin—and let it begin with me!” I’ve always been the favorite at home, and I was promised that wouldn’t change when I arrived at rescue.
The wagon came prepared with a crate in the back, but I took one look at it and thought, “There’s no way I’m fitting in that thing!” So, I patiently waited until everyone realized that, at 4 years old, I’ve blossomed into a beautiful, thick lady with a bit more flare around the middle. The back seat was definitely a better fit for me!
I get along with all dogs, no matter their size—I’m a friend to everyone! I’ve been spayed, but while rolling around on my back, the rescue lady noticed I have a hernia that needs to be looked at.
I’m going for a checkup on Monday, where I’ll also get some vaccinations and show the vet my tummy to see what she thinks. I just had babies, so I’m not sure another surgery is the best idea for me right now, but I’ll keep everyone posted after my visit.
In the meantime, get those applications in because you may be my perfect match. And I’ll be ready to roll before you know it!
1/30/25 Update: Lila Ladybug came to her foster home this week, and is just the sweetest girl ever. She is also a gorgeous girl, who is THICC!
Here is what we know so far:
She loves a soft bed and a blanket.
She loves her crate and food.
She loves her people with all of her heart.
She is nearly fully potty trained!
We are working on slowly introducing her to our pack. More to come on this gal!
