Lilly Langtry

Lilly Langtry

Jax Diesel and Lilly Langtry have been adopted, better yet, TOGETHER! Their new dad Mel needed some dog friends and after meeting this dynamic duo, he new they would fit the bill. As luck would have it, Jeff and I were traveling past Mel’s house, so we got to take them and drop them off for the adoption. They immediately felt at home and no tears were shed on their part wish I could say the same.

I want to introduce Lilly and Jax to the rescue group.

Lilly and Jax are a little over 2yrs old and came from the same breeder but were not litter mates. They are spayed and neutered and will be UTD on their shots shortly. They were a tearful family surrender as their living situation has changed and they cannot take the fur babies with them, so they made a unselfish decision to get them to a better situation.

Lilly and Jax are house trained, had a doggie door at their previous house, are kennel trained but they do like to go in together. They are dog friendly, curious cat chasers, but won’t harm them, not food or toy aggressive, and have no history of any medical problems.

They would be best suited to go to a home together.  Anybody looking for a pair of bulldogs shouldn’t pass these two by!

3/19/24 Update:  Update on Jax Diesel and Lilly Lantry; Both have settled into the herd of dogs and cats without incident, the cats have stopped running and the pups have stopped chasing, they now nose the cats, and the cats quite enjoy it.It’s a strange bunch around here! Week 2 brings some training, neither knew how to sit or stay on command and would bolt in and out of the door to the backyard when opened but both now know sit/ stay and politely enter and exit.

Lilly is the star student she picks things up quickly and is eager to please Jax follows along , he is a kind gentle soul very laid back while Lilly is active and inquisitive, she loves to get the bulldog zoomies running at top speed around the back yard while Jax looks on with his soulful eyes .

They continue to do well in the kennel and Lilly knows when I say  “TREAT” to get in their kennel, Jax takes more coaching they do kennel together.  I know everyone is hoping they get adopted together, as I do, but I really do think they would do well going their separate ways, they are more bonded to their human than to each other. Anybody looking for young healthy bulldogs can’t go wrong with either of these dogs, they are a pleasure.
