Who would have ever thought such a shy little girl like me would find such a wonderful furever home?
Foster Mom and Dad told me we were having visitors and gave me a bath… I don’t like baths but this was a special occasion.
When the family got here we all sat down on the sidewalk and got to know each other. I found out I was going to have a skin sister, a skin brother and a HUGE fur brother. He isn’t quite sure what to make of such a small package like me, but we get along. I’ll be the boss of him in no time.
Thank you, Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, for giving me a second chance and thanks to Doc Larsen for making sure I was a healthy girl. A special thanks to Foster Mom and Dad for helping this shy little girl come out of my shell. I have discovered such a wonderful life and I love it.
When the rescue wagon came and I saw my friends hopping in, I knew I had to go for it. Even though I was scared to death, I had to be brave and go with my friends.
I took a drive and then this nice man came over to see me and sat down on the floor with me. I was scared, but I came out of my crate and climbed up in his lap with my little Bulldog butt just wiggling.
I am a petite 2-year-old girl and am very skittish about everything. I didn’t have a name, so when my foster mom and dad asked me if I liked Miranda, I was overjoyed. I FINALLY HAVE A NAME!
Foster Mom and Dad said I need to learn some manners and how to potty outside. They also said I would be going to see Dr. Larsen soon to get checked out. I’ve heard of her. She’s famous in the Bulldog world for loving all Bulldogs.
I’ll keep you posted on my progress as I get used to just being a puppy.
1/24/23 Update: I’m still a very timid and scared little girl. I’m afraid to come out of my crate and when I do, I cower down because it’s a big scary world out there. Foster Dad has to carry me outside, where I enjoy running around and exploring, but I am still scared.
So far, Foster Mom and Dad have been really good about not pushing me and letting me take my time to get used to things. I will say, I LOVE attention and can’t get enough petting and butt scratches.
Foster Mom and Dad are taking their time in introducing me to the other dogs, so for now, I am playing with my buddy foster boy Ted E. Bear Bulldog.
I will start looking for my furever home after I visit with Dr. Larsen.
1/31/23 Update: Miranda Lambert has really come out of her shell in the last few days. She is not afraid to come out of her kennel and will run right outside. Here she is just “struttin’ her stuff.”
3/17/23 Update: Hi everyone. Miranda here and I’m letting everyone know I am ready to find my forever home.
A little about me. When I first came to rescue I was petrified and wouldn’t come out of my kennel. Foster dad had to drag me out and carry me outside to do my business. Now when the kennel door opens I shoot out of there like a bullet and am full of energy and excitement.
I’ve learned that treats are good. I’ve learned the word stop and no. I’m learning to go outside and potty but every once in awhile I have an accident. I play with my foster brother Ted E. Bulldog and I try to play with some of the other dogs in the house but I may be a bit rough and they don’t like it. I’m working on calming down a bit. I’m not food aggressive and I absolutely love attention and petting. I stay right under foot to not miss and butt scratches or ear rubbins.
I’ll be looking thru the adoption apps to find my forever home so make sure you get yours in quickly.
