Rollie David

Rollie David

Rollie David has been adopted! He joins a fur sister, Sally, who also was adopted from Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue. We’re going to miss him, but I know he’s going to have a great life!

Three brothers, Rosco Adam, Rollie David and Rowdy Alan, joined our rescue yesterday at the tender age of 6.

Their arrival comes after a series of unfortunate events: a fire devastated their family’s business, followed by a motorcycle accident that left them in need of support.

Now, they have found a place where they can receive the medical and emotional care they desperately need.

Yesterday marked the beginning of a new chapter for these brave brothers. Stay tuned for more updates on their journey!

11/27/24 Update:   I visited with some kids today, and I really enjoyed their company. I greeted them with hugs and let them shower me with scratches all over.

We went for a little walk around the area, and I think I’d absolutely love to take strolls with a loving family. I had a stuffed toy in front of me, but the leash was just too irresistible as a chew toy!

As I was exploring, I spotted something unusual out of the corner of my eye. It was the strangest thing I’d ever seen! I rushed over to get a closer look and asked, “What on earth are you?” but it quickly hid from me. I’m a fan of hide and seek, so I tried to join the fun, but Mr. Turtle wasn’t playing along. I gave up and went back to the kids for more cuddles. I hope these kids can help me find my next family!

12/20/24 Update:  Rollie David is the dream foster dog—sweet, affectionate, and always eager for love. He adores giving kisses and nibbling on your ears. His name should be Elmer because he sticks to you like glue! He does have a bit of separation anxiety (understandably), but after just six days in his foster home, he’s already making amazing progress.

He’s great with my kids and gets along wonderfully with my 2-year-old Bulldog. Rollie David loves our daily routine—he looks forward to school drop-offs in the morning and walking to the bus stop in the afternoon. He enjoys his walks and is fantastic on a leash. At night, he sleeps soundly in his crate and patiently waits for you to wake up in the morning.

Rollie David has a bit of trouble chewing kibble, so I’ve been adding some soft food, and he loves it! His foster brother has shown him the kitchen ropes, and Rollie David now knows that standing by during dinner might score him a tasty treat.

Overall, Rollie David is an easy-going dog who’s up for anything, as long as it’s with you. He’s a joy to have around, and we’re so happy to care for him as he waits to be adopted.
