Sadie Claire

Sadie Claire

It was the best day of Sadie Claire’s life! Yesterday, Sadie was adopted by a family who has loved Bulldogs forever.

Their last Bulldog passed away recently and they were so lonely and sad. But when they saw Sadie’s photo, they knew she was the one for them, so driving down from Colorado was no problem.

When Sadie saw her family, it was love at first sight! They brought Sadie a new harness and leash and she stepped into it like she knew she was leaving rescue for bigger and better things. And Sadie never looked back.

Sadie will be missed. She was one of the favorites at Bright Star Veterinary Clinic and she looked amazing when she left headed to Colorado!

Much love, Sadie, with your new life in Colorado. Don’t forget to send pics!

I may look familiar to you. I was all over the social media looking for a family.

About three weeks ago, a sweet young lady saved me from a bad situation. She planned for us to be together forever.

That forever was cut short when she learned she was going to have to move.

We both were upset, and we both cried. I finally felt like I had someone who was going to love me, and she felt like she finally had her dream dog.

Not knowing where to turn, she posted me on social media, asking if anyone could take me. She wrote that I needed to have my eyes fixed and my skin fixed. I also needed to be spayed and loved forever.

There were so many people who were interested in me. My new mom got nervous and was so afraid she was going to choose someone who might breed me and not be good to me.

Finally, the right person reached out and told my mom all about the rescue. My mom was so excited because she trusted that rescue would do what they said they would.

With tears falling like rain, my mom hugged me goodbye, but said she would keep up with me through social media. My mom was so happy because soon I’ll be having my eyes fixed. All my lashes turn in and rub on my corneas ~ my eyes hurt. I have places on my fur that need attention, also. And my baby-making days are coming to an end also!

Before long, everyone will see me on a sofa with a new family, getting treated like the queen I was born to be!

I am 3 years old. I’m scared of loud noises and sudden movements, and I can act shy at first. But watch me as I travel through rescue. Before you know it, I will be much more confident!
