Sara Bella now lives in Kerrville, Texas, with a couple who have had Bulldogs in their lives for about five decades. They knew a house without a Bulldog is just not a home. And Sara Bella was more than ready to fill that void.
Bulldog friends, this was the best week of my life!
The rescue wagon rolled into my town, and I got the surprise of my life! Who was already there? My real sister, Cinder Ella! Neither of us knew the other one was coming.
My time on the farm was over and I had packed my bags and I was ready to go. I told my friends goodbye and we all hugged. I was nervous at first, but when I got to town it was even more than I had dreamed. There sitting in a crate in the back of the rescue wagon was my real sister. We had been apart for a while but after one look and we both melted. Cinder was jumping up and down and not acting like a lady. She was trying to open the crate door and jump out. I was trying to jump in the back and get in the crate. Lord, it was a sight. The excitement was unreal. A sister that I thought I would never see again was right there in front of me.
Now we are 4, we both look fabulous, and we are both looking forward to finding a fabulous family. My name is Sara Bella and I am so happy to be here.
4/4/23 Update: I have a story to tell. I spent the first five years of my life making babies, and now my new life has just begun.
I was so surprised when a rescue wagon loaded me up and took me away. First stop was to meet Dr. Larsen. No more babies for me. Next stop was to a foster home.
I have never been in a home before and there’s so much to learn. I have new fur friends, new foods, soft beds and toys. Lots of toys. I’m learning how to play with my friends and with toys. The hardest thing to remember is to always potty outside. I’m working on that.
Foster Mom thinks I’m a beautiful, gentle girl. I will soon be looking for my furever family. I am timid at first, when things are new. I just have to be sure that I’m safe and loved. All in all, life is good, and I’m loving it.
