1/14/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Annie Marie to our rescue family! She writes: Can you believe someone dumped me? I mean, just look at how spectacularly stunning I am!
That’s right… I was tossed aside. Luckily, a few kind souls witnessed the madness and scooped me up. Phew! They truly wanted me to stay, but unfortunately the resident dog and I didn’t quite see eye to eye.
I used to be called “Piggy,” but I’m reinventing myself. Please call me Annie Marie. Soon I’ll be all fixed up at the vet and settled into a temporary pad. I have a feeling my time in rescue won’t be long. As you can see, I’m an absolute prize!

5/19/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: This sweet girl is something truly special. As my fifth foster with Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, Annie Marie has set the bar impossibly high… and I’ll deny saying that if anyone asks! 😄
Annie Marie is the definition of chill. She’s relaxed, affectionate and an absolute joy to have in the home. She is beautifully house-trained, and at bedtime, she heads straight to her bed without a fuss. Complete with the most adorable little snores you’ve ever heard.
A few things to know about this girl:
🐾 Only dog home required: She can display dominant behavior around other dogs despite her small size, so she’ll do best as the queen of her castle. However, cats are welcome.
🚗 Road trip ready: She loves a good car ride!
🏥 Health update: A recent vet visit revealed mild arthritis in her front right leg. She’s currently at 46 lbs., and working toward a goal weight of 38 lbs., to help ease the pressure on those little legs.
🔇 Quiet as a mouse: She has yet to bark once. She communicates entirely in snorts, snores and loving looks.
Annie Marie is ready for her forever home… a calm, loving space where she can nap, snuggle and reign supreme.
