Coop

8/26/25 INTRODUCTION: On this National Dog Day, meet Coop, a gentle soul ready for a second chance.

Say hello to Coop, a 7-year-old distinguished gentleman with a quiet, calm spirit that speaks volumes.

We don’t know much about Coop’s life before he arrived in our care this past Saturday. What we do know is that after his original owner became ill, Coop was taken in by the owner’s granddaughter for a short time. Since then, life has clearly been hard on him.

Coop is underweight, and it’s painfully obvious he hasn’t had the care he deserves. But beneath the neglect is a heart full of quiet hope.

He’s going to need time to heal, to trust and to feel safe again. But when Coop opens up, we believe he’ll give the kind of love that’s deep, steady and endless.

On a day where we celebrate the unconditional love of dogs everywhere, we’re honored to start writing a new chapter for Coop ~ one filled with kindness, comfort and the love he’s waited far too long for. 💛

If you’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and can open your home temporarily, we desperately need foster families to help us save more dogs like Coop. Fostering truly changes lives… for them and for you. Message us today.

We also adopt to approved families across the country, as long as you’re able to travel to us and are open to being matched with one of our wonderful Bulldogs.

Let’s give Coop, and so many others like him, the second chance they deserve.

10/14/25 UPDATE ~ We’re working to match Coop to the right family for him! From the foster momma: Coop wants everyone to know he’s on the lookout for a home where he can do what he does best: snuggle, snack and snooze!

This sweet boy is the definition of a low-maintenance lovebug. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, and his easygoing nature makes him a joy to have around.

While Coop is a happy homebody, he lives for car rides, especially if they include a drive-thru treat! More than anything, he just wants to be close to his people, soaking up the love.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts cozy and charming, Coop might be your perfect match. 💛

11/1/25 UPDATE ~ We’re working to match Coop to a great family for him! From his foster momma: Coop’s doing great and finally letting his personality and true Bulldog shenanigans come out! He’s playing with toys, chasing balls and even going on walks with a neighbor dog. He absolutely loves other dogs. He’s also putting on weight and looking so much healthier.

11/20/25 UPDATE ~ We’re working to match Coop to a great family for him! From his foster momma: Coop is the captain now! This sweet boy continues to thrive in his foster home. For his foster family, it has truly been a privilege to give this gentle soul a second chance. He knows he is safe, cared for and deeply loved. Coop is crate trained, house trained, loves his doggie friends and is always up for a car ride! He’s ready to be the king of your couch.

5/6/26 UPDATE ~ Coop is still looking for his perfect match 💛

After returning to the rescue this January, Coop has been settling into foster life like a pro. His foster mom shares that he’s an easygoing guy who sleeps about 20 hours a day (😄) and is both potty trained and crate trained.

He’s the definition of low-maintenance and would love a calm home where he can lounge, nap and soak up some love. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion, Coop might just be your guy.
