1/23/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Nami to our rescue family!
Nami is a sweet girl who just needs a little continued guidance and confidence-building. With structure and love, she’s going to make a wonderful companion.
3/6/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: In case anyone was wondering if Nami likes kids… the verdict is in: kid tested and approved! 🐾💕
She was incredibly sweet and gentle with them and handled all the attention like a champ.
Nami is still proving to be a bit dog selective. We don’t think she had much socialization in her early years, so when meeting new dogs she can come in a little assertive. Depending on how the other dog responds, they quickly become either friends or “let’s not hang out” acquaintances. The good news is she’s still very responsive to correction and continues to improve.
Like many of our rescued Bulldogs, Nami does have some skin and ear issues that may flare up from time to time. But she’s still an amazing girl with lots of love to give.
3/25/26 UPDATE ~ We’re working to match Nami to the right family for her! From her foster momma: Nami is searching for a home where she can take the lead. This confident girl definitely has a “queen of the house” vibe!
Despite her bossy streak, she has an incredible tolerance for playful, high-energy pups, and it’s easy to see she was once a devoted and patient mama to her babies.
Nami is in great overall health, with only minor allergies and the occasional ear infection to manage. She’s housebroken, crate trained and above all, overflowing with love. She’s ready to bring her big heart and strong spirit to a forever home that will cherish her.
5/6/26 UPDATE ~ We’re looking to match Nami to the right family for her! From her foster momma: Nami continues to do great in her foster home! She gets along well with the other pups, but she definitely has a no-tolerance-for-nonsense streak. Nami is a more dominant personality and can come in a little strong during initial greetings. As long as the other dogs are easygoing, everything settles quickly. If another dog is reactive or snarky, things can get a bit tense. But for the most part, Nami prefers to mind her own business and expects others to do the same.
She does especially well with foster girl Brigitte Barkdot and even tolerates her playful attempts to steal toys. Their evening “toy battles” are a daily highlight, with both of them determined to claim their favorite!
Nami does have stenotic ears due to past chronic ear infections and allergies, so she may be prone to occasional flare-ups. Recently, she started on Zenrelia, which has already helped improve her ears and reduce itching. We’re hopeful this may be seasonal, but time will tell.
Nami would do best in a home that understands her confident personality and can provide a balanced environment with respectful canine companions.
