4/29/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Topher to our rescue family.
Who does this? Who loses a senior Bulldog and never comes looking for him?
Topher didn’t just wander off unnoticed. He’s a big, unmistakable boy and he knew he wasn’t home. At around 8 years old and still unneutered, he ended up at the shelter, waiting… and wondering.
If you look at his face, you can almost see the surprise… the moment he realized someone actually came back for him. Not his original owner, but someone who cared enough to give him another chance.
Despite quickly becoming a shelter favorite, Topher didn’t belong there. He deserved more than a kennel and passing attention. The staff knew it too, and they wanted something better for him… a soft place to land, a quiet home where he can finally relax and be loved through his golden years.
That’s all he needs now: a safe, patient retirement home.
There’s no excuse for abandoning a dog like this. But there is an opportunity to make it right for Topher.
We are urgently looking for more foster families for dogs like Topher. Foster volunteers must be located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area so they can easily access our partner veterinarians and attend public events.
