With heavy hearts, we wanted to let you know of the passing of Carlos, an alumnus of Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue. From his foster momma: All you had to do was meet Carlos, look into his beautiful face and big brown eyes and you were in love. This foster mom and dad were. Carlos, also known as Chunky and even Chunky Peanut Butter, was adopted by the most amazing family Christmas of 2015. Carlos had a mom and dad that adored him, his four skin siblings and a big sheepdog brother named, Donny, though Donny passed about a year ago. Those two were inseparable, thick as thieves and the cutest Odd Couple. Chunky’s time with his family wasn’t near long enough, but this boy only knew love, playtime and snuggles. This unique little clown of a Bulldog, with the personality as big as a house, will be missed by all who were lucky to have met him. You are already missed, Chunky Peanut Butter.
Carlos joined the LSBCR today as an owner surrender. He comes from a family that “inherited” Carlos. Carlos is a great dog but not a good fit for them. Carlos loves all people, dogs and even cats. He has a tail infection currently that is being treated. He will get a follow-up on that in about 7 days to see if his tail needs to be amputated or not. Once that small issue is addressed, Carlos will make one lucky family the perfect companion.
