Sadly some dogs never do well in rescue. They never adjust to life changes and become overly aggressive. Muffin struggled with her behavior in spite of everything the vet staff and rescue volunteers tried. She was miserable, and the vet staff thought it was best to take her out of that misery. So, after much thought and discussion, the decision was made to have her euthanized and put at rest. Sweet dreams baby girl!
I joined rescue last night and brought my daughter, Sibella as well.
With our dad in the hospital, he knew we weren’t getting the care we needed. He made the painful decision to put us first and ensure we would have better futures.
When we heard Casa De Meza was coming to get us, we got excited! We received the royal treatment and rode in the “Bully Bus.” We each had our own spot and headed to our new foster house.
Upon arrival, we both enjoyed spa treatments. Oh man, did it feel good! Foster Mom jumped in the big shower with me and gave me a scrubbing.
I then explored the house and now I have my own room ~ this is so awesome!
I hope my fur grows back fast. It’s really thin, so we are changing my diet. Thank you, Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, for coming to our rescue.
5/9/24 Update: I’m all smiles and learning to play nice with other dogs. It’s been a bit of a struggle, but I’m glad my foster dad is giving me the chance.
I seem to getting a bit better with my social skills with other fur babies. It’s a work in progress for me, but I likely will need to be an only fur child at this point. For some reason, I want to show my dominance after 10-20 minutes. I know where to do my business and I’m really looking for some companionship. Please share my story to help me find a great family!
