Bulldog friends, guess what? I packed my bags and moved south! It’s true—today was my adoption day!
My new parents are Dianne and Corban, and I’ve also got a new skin brother named Charlie. Plus, I have two new fur friends: Puddin, the French Bulldog, and Winston, the Boxer. It was love at first sight for everyone, and it feels like we’ve been a family forever.
I adored my time in rescue, but I’m absolutely in love with my new family. I’m small enough to walk under Winston, and I’m even smaller than Puddin, so I’m officially the baby of the bunch!
My family will be sending pictures of me from time to time so you can all watch me grow up. I also have a new name—Elvis! Everyone thought I looked like a “hunk of burning love,” and I have to agree!
I’m a 6-month-old bundle of cuteness. I was one of six puppies born into this world, and if I do say so myself, I was the cutest of the litter.
But my story took a heartbreaking turn when, during our first vet visit, my family decided to leave me behind to be euthanized. I was devastated—how could I have no value at all?
The vet and the vet tech were equally shocked. I was born with a cleft lip, and my family believed that meant no one would want me. But thankfully, the vet staff stepped in, and my new best friend took me home.
She reassured me that being special didn’t mean I was worthless. To her, I was adorable just the way I was. I could eat, drink, run, play, and do everything my littermates could do.
I’ve been with my best friend for about five months now. Although she never intended to keep me forever—her goal was to love me, teach me, and then help me find a home—she wanted to make sure I had the best start possible. If she kept me, she wouldn’t have the space to help another dog who needs her.
Now, on Labor Day, I’m excited to announce that I’ve officially joined rescue! Thanks to the love and care I’ve received, I’m ready to find my next family.
