Crosby

Crosby

Crosby knew exactly what kind of family he was looking for. He dreamed of a place where he could play, a big backyard to run like the wind, and most importantly, someone who would love him forever.

On Sunday, all of Crosby’s dreams came true when Eddie and his Bulldog lady, Geraldine, came to visit.

It was love at first sight for Crosby, especially when he heard that Eddie lived on over 50 acres, surrounded by horses and other dogs—giving Crosby the space to run freely whenever he pleased.

Eddie is no stranger to Bulldogs, having loved and cared for many over the years. He fondly spoke of the ones that had crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and it was clear how deep his love for the breed runs.

In his new home, Crosby will want for nothing, and Eddie and Geraldine will now have a new best friend by their side—one who will follow them every step of the way. It’s the perfect match, and Crosby’s heart is full knowing he’s found his family.

Even though he found himself in a local shelter, Crosby thought he would be home for Thanksgiving. After all, his family had been contacted because he was microchipped. The chip also showed he’s only 3 years old.

The family initially told the shelter he had been missing for two weeks. But then, after not showing up, they called back and revealed they had actually given him away two months ago.

All Crosby knew was that he was really thin, it was bitterly cold, and the shelter was incredibly noisy. Spending Thanksgiving in the shelter wasn’t where he wanted to be, but he had to wait out his stray hold just in case his family changed their minds.

Deep down, Crosby knew no one was coming for him—and he was okay with that. He had faith the rescue wagon would arrive, and just as he expected, it did.

Crosby eagerly ran of the shelter, ready to start a new chapter with a family who will love him forever.
