5/25/526 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Belvedere to our rescue family! Sometimes life changes in ways you never see coming.
Belvedere is an 8-year-old, 50-pound Bulldog whose life has been anything but easy. For a very long time, he stayed loyally by the side of a homeless family who loved him dearly. But eventually, life on the road became too difficult, and in hopes of giving him stability and care, he was entrusted to someone who promised to love him forever.
Sadly, that promise did not last.
Before long, Belvedere found himself unwanted and sitting in a local shelter. Thankfully, the shelter staff saw the sweet soul behind his tired eyes. They gave him soft blankets, a cozy bed, kindness and reassurance that his life still mattered… that somewhere out there, someone would have a heart for a senior Bulldog boy like him.
As the days passed and no one came, the shelter reached out to rescue.
And now, Belvedere is safe with us. ❤️
At 8 years old, his body is tired and walking is difficult for him, but his spirit is gentle, loving and so deserving of comfort, care and a family who will never give up on him again.
Senior dogs may move a little slower, but they love with their whole hearts. Belvedere does not need perfection. He just needs someone willing to give him a soft place to land, a warm bed and love for whatever time he has left.
