Yesterday, I packed my crate, bed, toys, three bags of dog food, treats and two McDonald’s hamburgers and hit the road to rescue. You see, I was bought as a Bulldog baby and my family consisted of six kids, two dogs, a cat or two and a mom and dad. It was a busy family, but I thought I fit right in to the mix.
Then it happened. They were moving, but not with me. Well, I was shocked to say the least. My mom told some co-workers about me and sure enough, a great couple came and took me home. My new mom and dad were not really “Bulldog people,” so to speak. They did not know too much about handling my behavior. I bring a whole new meaning to bull-headed. See, I am only 20 months old and I already want to be the boss. I am thick, strong and have no problem with bossing people around.
I know my bossing days are over now, and it’s time for me to follow some rules. Just between me and you, I am ready for someone else to be the boss, so I can go back to just being the babe that everyone wanted to pet. I need an experienced Bulldog family to work with me. Probably kid-free, and a family that is patient, loving and kind. I love to take walks and I walk great on a leash. I am potty trained and crate trained. I am the BIG package, but with a small attitude!
