6/11/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Belle Bottom to our rescue family.
Belle Bottom comes into rescue with a story that sadly mirrors far too many others. She was found walking alone down a country road with no homes in sight. She was covered in fleas and ticks, and unfortunately pregnant. Thankfully, a caring woman spotted her and knew she needed immediate medical attention. Without help, Belle Bottom likely would not have survived the brutal heat as she continued her lonely journey.
A few days later, Belle Bottom gave birth to a single puppy, a precious little girl with a long tail that curled over her back. As it turned out, Belle Bottom was quite happy to have only one baby because motherhood wasn’t exactly her favorite job! She quickly decided that puppies were a lot of work and preferred leaving the childcare duties to someone else.
Her rescuer chose to keep the puppy and promised Belle Bottom that once her daughter was old enough, she would be spayed. Soon after, the rescuer decided to contact us so Belle Bottom could begin her next chapter.
Belle Bottom is a small Bulldog with a huge heart. At about 2 years old, she’s the definition of a Velcro dog and would happily spend 24/7 curled up in your lap, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Now fully vetted and healthy, Belle Bottom is ready to find her next home (and the forever lap) she’s been waiting for.
