Bandit Valentino

2/14/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Love is big this Valentine’s Day season… 90 pounds big! ❤️

Please welcome our newest sweetheart, Bandit Valentino, who joined rescue today. This freshly turned 2-year-old is as sweet as they come, a true gentle giant.

Bandit Valentino was deeply loved by his previous family, but when some of the grandkids developed allergies, they made the difficult decision to do what was best for everyone. Now he’s safely with us and ready for his next chapter.

Despite his size, Bandit Valentino is incredibly gentle, calm and affectionate. He may be a big boy, but his heart is even bigger. He does have a few medical needs we’re addressing, including a skin infection, an ear infection and a neuter in his future, but once he’s feeling his best, Bandit Valentino will be reviewing our approved applications for a family who likes their Bulldogs THICK… because this Bandit Valentino is absolutely going to steal your heart. 💘

💚 We urgently need foster families in the DFW area to help dogs like Bandit Valentino transition from uncertainty to stability and love. Fostering saves lives and we can’t say “yes” to dogs in need without open foster homes. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, now is the perfect time to step up. Message us to learn more.

Help us spread the love this Valentine’s Day season for Bandit Valentino and so many others waiting for their second chance.

4/25/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: It’s only been less than 24 hours with Bandit Valentino, and now I completely understand how he got his name… He’s already stolen my heart.

He is truly the best boy: sweet, gentle and already housebroken. He’s settling in so easily. He’s just about ready to have full run of the house, and honestly, he’s earned it.

Bandit Valentino loves being close to me, whether we’re relaxing inside, stepping out to explore the yard (as long as I’m nearby) or just enjoying some quiet time with my hands on him. He soaks up affection like he’s been waiting for it his whole life.

At mealtime, I added some green beans to his kibble. He gave me a little “are you serious?” look at first, but after a moment’s consideration…down they went. This boy definitely enjoys his food!

I have no doubt he’s going to be adopted quickly. Some very lucky family is going to fall in love with him just like I have. And before long, he’ll be off stealing someone else’s heart.
