11/17/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome Pixie Stick to our rescue family! Pixie Stick found herself at a local shelter, waiting patiently for a family that, sadly, never came. This adorable little girl appears to have been a mom at some point, and she couldn’t be sweeter if she tried. The shelter estimated her to be around 3 years old.
She’ll be heading to the vet soon for a full checkup and her spay, and once she’s all cleared, she’ll be ready to start the search for her next family.
Sweet Pixie Stick deserves a family who will love her the way she’s ready to love them completely. 💕
And as stories like hers remind us, we urgently need more foster families in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Local shelters often have Bulldogs who just need a safe place to land, and every new foster home means one more life saved. If you’ve ever considered fostering, now is a wonderful time to jump in. We’d love to welcome you to the team. Message us today.
4/22/26 UPDATE ~ For the next 16 days, Casa De Meza has been blessed (and mildly snored at) by the one and only Pixie Stick while her foster momma is on vacation.
At about 3-years-old, Pixie Stick has a face that says “I love you” and a personality that proves it.
Let’s get the important stuff out of the way:
⭐Potty trained (a true queen)
⭐Gets along great with other animals
⭐Professional-level cuddle buddy
⭐Expert in melting hearts within 3–5 business seconds
Pixie Stick’s hobbies include:
• Snuggling like it’s her full-time job
• Giving you “the look” until you share your snacks
• Being the sweetest little shadow you didn’t know you needed
She’s only visiting Casa De Meza for a couple weeks, so let’s not waste a second. If you’ve been thinking about adding a low-riding, love-giving, snore-producing best friend to your life, she may be your perfect match. She’s ready to book her one-way ticket to her next family!
